The venue has a rich history dating back to the 1920s, when it was established as a general store and post office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the 1940s, the building was transformed into a tavern and restaurant, which became a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. It was during this time that the venue began to host live music performances, featuring a variety of genres such as country, bluegrass, and rock and roll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the 1970s, the venue was purchased by a new owner, who continued to expand its reputation as a premier music destination. The Little Bear became known for hosting legendary acts such as Willie Nelson, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and The Charlie Daniels Band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the years, the venue has changed hands several times, but its legacy as a beloved Colorado music spot has remained.
